About Us
Set up by The Bicycle Exchange as a charitable extension of the business, The West Sussex Bike Project has been created to help make use of bikes that many people have lying around at home just gathering dust and are no longer needed.
We want these bikes to fulfill their purpose so we look to take them in, fix them up and get them back out into the community whilst also helping those in need.
Profits from any donated bikes that we sell will be passed on to our West Sussex based charity partners
Getting bikes to those in need
We want to get our donated bikes back out to those in the community that may need a bike but can't afford to get one for themselves.
We want to hear from you about people you feel may deserve one of our bikes. It may be somebody who has been down on their luck that needs transport for a new job, an elderly person who needs a way to get to and from the local shops or a child from a broken home in need of something to make their life that little bit brighter.
